Cranberry may reduce the risk of urinary tract infections by inhibiting the adherence of bacteria to the urinary tract.
Contraindicated in pregnancy and lactation. High doses of Cranberry may interact with warfarin. Caution is advised in patients taking midazolam. Due to the tannins in this product, it should be consumed at least 2 hours away from ingestion of mineral supplements. Consider medical referral for pain/ irritation that persists for more than 48 hours. The presence of blood in the urine warrants immediate medical attention. Discontinue 7 days prior to general anaesthesia.
Adults: Subacute: 1 tablet 3-4 times daily. Acute: 2 tablets 3-4 times daily.
